I bought a nice phone some months ago… that I thought was nice. I didn’t buy the iphone because I have something against apple. I know it is stupid, but I don’t want to be part of this group of apple crazies… but I should have bought a droid. Today I exchange my device for a new one (but should be the same) since the browser was freezing. I came back home happy and adding all the apps again, and guess what? 10 hours later and the browser is frozen again… damm it. I think I need to ask a new model of device. more…
.. I slept in the couch and I am going to bed now… I didn’t lose wait this week, actually I am 1 kg heavier (will change tomorrow in the side), but I have less fat (???)..

The weekend was really nice. It was great to go to Richmond, visit our venezuelan friends and see their nice American home in a super American neighborhood, located in a great and beautiful American city! They are living there for 6 months now, and enjoying a lot. Of course that after talking a lot, the second activity of the weekend was eat! OMG, I forgot how much we can eat when together with friends… it started Saturday with ribs in the grill, finishing with sushi after a great bowling game (of course Jan won both games… but I got second in one of them)! more…
My day was pretty lazy… though I had some activities… Sarah came in the morning to leave some plants for me to take care while she does an exchange to Argentina. She does not know what she is doing… hehehe (I know you are reading it). I don’t have a good history of keeping plants alive, but I will try hard. That was a lazy day. Snowed during the night but then started to rain and become a big mess. Snow is ice, beautiful, but with rain can be dangerous because the roads get slippery. I had a brunch with some first years (the ones that worked with me at Brand Challenge) and I was ready to go, in my car when one of the girls asked if she could miss since she was worried about driving. Ok, we did it. Personal trainer at 7am and my husband phrase ” this is making me hate gym even more”, and I need to agree with him. Wake up and get ready in the cold weather to do tough exercises is not the most interesting thing to do. But after our hour there I feel so good for having done.
My day was not the most calm for a first vacation day. I had to go to school to help in the marketing exam correction. It is an interesting experience to realize how much the grade of a student is directly related to the grader idea of right or wrong… I mean, it is not completely like that but sometimes the partial grade is kind of subjective. more…
It was incredible hard to wake up… specially to go to the doctor. It was -7oC in the morning. Really cold. I arrived on time, had my annual check up, blood test, flu shot, intimate exams, though the doctor told me that there is a new medical law that says that healthy and monogamy women like me don’t need to do a pap every year, only every 3 years… guess what? he didn’t do to me. I thought that was awkward and i want to ask my sister her opinion. I am feeling a little bit dizzy and weird.. maybe because of the flu shot, or maybe because I had a wine … I don’t know… more…
It is hard to start a new diet all over again. I lost 8kg until May and I GAINED everything back. No, I am not over reacting. I weighted today: 74.8kg. I started last year with 75kg. Desire to cry? Totally! I did my final paper, that was kind of fun since it was about my life and the choices and trade offs I made when choosing where to go as full time employee. more…
