For the first time in long time I started my day the way I really love: eating breakfast on bed and then sleeping for 1 more hour. It is just amazing when I don’t have anything schedule and can give the luxury to sleep a lot!

Around 3 o clock we went to my mother in law’s friends home and they took us for some tour in Cincinnati. It was nice to see the city through the eyes of people that live here. We drove around beautiful neighborhoods and streets that we would not find by ourselves. I really liked a place called O’Brien Ville, awesome home. more…

Kind of a different day for us: Indy 500! We had never imagined to be here… This race always looked so distant from us! We loved the experience! The space is HUGE! A lot of people – estimates 500 thousand. The day was incredible hot: 95 F or 33C. It was hard to not drink something, so at the end of the day we had 8 beers + 4 ginger ales + 2 waters! more…

I woke up at 9 am; a good time for my first Monday without classes. I answered some emails and started to clean my home. I don’t know how many calories I lost during my 3 cleaning hours, but I believe it was a good amount. Next time I am going to use my watch to see how much a housekeeper can lose per day! Normally my husband and I split the work in our home: I am responsible for the bathroom, clothes and dust; and he is responsible for the vacuum cleaning and the kitchen. more…
