I woke up 9h30 (with the alarm clock) and I was starving… went directly to the kitchen and made some eggs. Then at lunch time I went to a restaurant at Fountain Square with some friends from Fuqua. It was a good talk about Cincinnati and work. I was worried that I would have to leave earlier to go to a volunteer event, and my husband sad: “Relax, you know Americans. The lunch will last at most 1 hr and you will have free time for a nap before the next event”. He was almost right. more…

Great day, awesome evening! Today was my first presentation to the Brand Team. I was nervous, sweating… more than final presentation with Mark Brown… much more… I knew everything I had to talk, but I was woried about how I would handle questions etc. At the end I did well. When I came back to my desk I received 2 messages saying I did a great job! I keep thinking, I am not bad in deliveries and analysis… and I am getting pretty good in the well know “politics”. more…
Yesterday, after some weather alerts during Bachelorete, a thunder storm with strong winds arrived in Downtown Cincinnati. I was a little bit concern since I actually don’t what to do in a tornado day. Nothing bad happened… only a 19m Jesus statue was broken in the middle!
Today a lot of people talking about the storm and the possibility of happening again. After a long day, with a lot of activities, and a frustration of being working during Brazil’s game in world cup, I finally got home to get ready and go to Dave Matthews Concert. The sun was up, the place is beautiful, everything was perfect… (expect the price of the beer – $7.00). After 3 songs started to rain… not a normal summer rain! A heavy one, with thunder storms.. after while (for me looked like eternity) it stopped. Relieved I taught that I would be able to finally enjoy the concert! more…
