Seriously, my eyes are closing, I have a strong migraine, I need to go to bed but I am here, writing my blog… I think it has being one of my hardest commitments… but I love to post. Sometimes would be easier to forget it… I can’t! Especially after a day like today: vibrant, full of good energy, meeting awesome women, hearing inspiring histories! I went to the Women in Business Conference hosted by UNC. (The Duke’s biggest rival… when you talk about basketball).

Yesterday I was thinking if I would go or not! But I decided to go since I promised to a UNC student that invited me directly. Thanks God I went. It was so well organized… and the gifts were great. A beautiful bag (that unfortunately I can’t wear since it is from “competitor”), a notebook and some products from sponsors. Among those products there was a $50 gift card from Spanx.

I hadn’t heard about that brand before, but as a good woman, I loved the gift card! But then the final speaker was Spanx’s CEO. She was inspiring, and talked about intuition and innovation! I could write for a long time about her life, accomplishments and kind of advices! But I don’t want now… I need to go to bed! What I want to say is that Spanx looks like an awesome product, developed to help women, like me, without a perfect body to have every piece in the correct place! Actually, a lot of famous actresses and singers wear this product to look more beautiful and perfect in their Oscars’ dresses!

I will spend my gift care carefully, choosing a product to try! For sure I will let you know what I think about the quality and final results in the mirror!

Ah, talking about mirror, feel good and clothes: today I wear my old black pants. It was really tight for a long time, and today was really good… not perfect yet… but I felt good!
